Spent 1 night here with my husband, had a very lovely stay overall. I were met by excellent, extremely friendly personnel. The setting of the hotel was perfect and magnificent, in the center. My husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay at The Buck Hotel. The staff were fantastic and extremely friendly. The hotel's location was ideal, right in the heart of town. Plus, it was conveniently close to a church/WW1 Memorial monument, the racecourse along the river, and the Bangor on Dee horse track as well as a nice pub.

We were able to book a quiet standard queen room at a great price and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room with a plug hole in the bathroom, a nice gesture from the hotel. The location was perfect, close to lots of activities.

The standard double room was neat and had an iron with ironing board, a work desk, and a TV. The bed was comfortable. The hotel had a nice location near an old brick bridge over a raging river, bar and restaurant areas, waterfalls, and Lake Bala and Vynwy.
